    Houston Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon once auctioned his first championship ring. The reason. according to Islam, is that Olajuwon is not allowed to wear gold on his body.
    Therefore, after Olajuwon won the second championship with the Rockets team in 1995, the NBA specially made a platinum ring for him.
